And I have a desktop I built at home so any serious work can get done on that machine, meaning I'm willing to take a bit of a performance hit if it makes the machine cooler and quieter. Would adjusting the fan curve and or undervolting be a possible solution given my hardware? It runs everything super smoothly even in 4k, but I usually turn settings down to 1080p just so it doesn't get as hot. The fan will boost up to 100% just from plugging it in and having chrome open, which can be kind of annoying in class, but at the same time it still gets super when I'm using it for gaming/heavy creative work so I'm worried adjusting the fan curve would cause overheating problems. This is my first post on the forum, so hopefully this is the right place for this post.
